Hoke Falls in 3rd Round of NCHSAA State 4A Softball Tournament

Hoke traveled to Nationally Ranked Cape Fear on 5/16 for the thrid round of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association's 4A State Championship tournament. The Colts defense behind strong pitching eleminated the Bucks.
The loss ended a late-season surge by the Bucks (15-13). Seeded 22nd, Hoke knocked out a No. 6 Wilmington Laney and No. 9 Lumberton before meeting the Colts.
