Remember that if you play soccer or football or even run cross country that those sports go before wrestling.  It may work out that you can attend both but I know that it will not work with football.  We will be running and lifting with the football team and then getting mat time immediately after that.

Hoke Wrestling is hosting the Grapple-Fest Wrestling Tournament on 11/25/15.  We are in need of great charactered, very responsible students and parents to assist us with putting on the best tournament ever.  If interested please click the button provided.

MMA Legend Jeremy Horn will be putting on his MMA Legend's Wrestling Camp at Hoke High again this year.  This is a great opportunity to learn from a guy that has more submissions than anyone in MMA!  World Clas Athlete and former World Champion will be on the mat with you, teaching you, drilling you, all the moves needed to be successful in our sport.  Cost is only $50 for two days of training.  Its a great opportunity!

7/8-7/11 at Virginia Tech. All meals will be served in Virginia Tech's # 1 national ranked dining hall. The Kevin Dresser Team-Competition Camp is designed around individual competition while using a TEAM CONCEPT that allows campers to participate with their team. If you attend camp as an individual or in a small group you will be placed on a team. This camp will consist of both competition (dual meets/individual tournament) and technique sessions. All technique will be taught by the Virginia Tech coaching staff or the upper classmen on the Hokie wrestling team. Each camper will be guaranteed between 12 and 18 matches. In recent years this camp has emerged as one of the top team camps on the East coast. In 2013 more than 500 campers attended this camp. If you are a high school coach looking for a camp where all you have to do is coach and evaluate your kids, then this camp will be perfect for you. We will provide each match (mat) with a referee (often times a certified HS official), a digital score clock, two table workers to keep time and score, and a member of the Virginia Tech wrestling team to assist you with coaching duties. All you have to do is show up, coach and have fun!!!!! Last year ALL head coaches received a free oversized embroidered VT Nike backpack as part of their registration fee. We will also hold a nightly coaches social giving you the opportunity to spend time and get too know our staff. We provide a Cliff Keen sublimated camp ALL-STAR singlets to those wrestlers selected to the camp All-Star match. The two teams that advance to the championship match will wear actual Hokie team singlets in the finals! You and your team will also be invited to stick around and watch the Virginia Tech wrestlers live wrestle, and see why we have emerged as one of the nation's premier wrestling programs! Registration can either be completed using the attached paper form or by using the our online team registration process. Having your team register online eliminates all paper forms, notifies coaches when a wrestlers from his team has registered and allows coaches to veiw what team members have regsitered. If you opt to use the team online registration process please notify Coach Robie (coachrobie@kdressercamps.com) that you plan to attend and he can add your team to the system. If COACHES DO NOT want to stay in the dorms with their wrestlers or if you would prefer for your entire team to stay at a hotel, we have set up a group block at the Comfort Inn and Suites (formerly the Howthorne Inn) less than a mile from campus and the Microtel in Christiansburg (about 6 miles). We will have plenty of supervision in dorms. Dorms DO NOT have air conditioning. If you choose to stay off campus campers will be charged the commuter rate of $270 (all meals are included with this fee) there will be NO coaches fee’s associated with your team. Coaches staying off campus will NOT receive a meal card but can pay cash or credit at the dining hall.
