The Bucks were trailing 12-8 going into the 4th quarter.  The game had already been stopped for 40 minutes due to lightening during the 2nd quarter.  The sky was flashing in the distance setting up a race to finish the game and on a winning note.

On the, what would become the final drive of the game, SV had been forced to punt.  The snap was bad, the punter avoided one defender and went into a second one...a flag was thrown for roughing the punter, giving SV an automatic first down.

Later in the drive a pass interference was called keeping the SV drive alive. Still lots of lightening in the near distance.  Hoke stopped the Tigers on the 13 yard line after 4 and goal downs with 2:31 seconds remaining in the game.  The team ran onto the field while SV ran off the field.  Their AD came on and said that lightening was now 3-8 miles according to the machine and that we would need to stop.

The game may or may not be finished.  The two school AD's will meet about it Friday to determine what will be done.  We will post the update in this article once it has been announced.
