Hoke had led the game all the way until the last moments of the game. At one point the Bucks' were up 28-13 and they saw that lead dwindle. Cary scored on the last drive of the game. Coach Jorgensen likened it with the game vs Jack Britt last year. The Bucks had a chance to win or tie the game and drove to within field goal range. The kick failed however and the Bucks lost 31-28.
