The Lady Bucks would drop both matches during the week but they made a statement that they will not be an easy win for any team in our conference. In the conference opener the Lady Bucks traveled into Scotland County to take on the Scots. They would lose the match 3-1 with set scores of 17-25, 18-25, 28-26, and 21-25. Coach Huey stated, ¨The teams in this conference are gonna have to earn their victories. It will not be easy. The team is progressing as the players learn their specific role  for the team."In the second match of the week the Lady Bucks dropped a tight and grueling five-set match against Lee County that could have gone either way. The 3-2 loss would see set scores of 24-26, 25-18, 4-25, 26-24, 16-14. The ladies fought hard and never gave up as they have all season.
