A special congratulations is in order for William Leak, he qualified for the state championship in all three of his events: Long, Triple, and High jumps along with setting the 4A Mideast Regional Championship record in the Triple Jump with a jump of 47' 2.5" and tying the record in the High Jump with a jump of 6'6". William was selected as the conference’s Male Field Athlete of the Year. William will be traveling to NC A&T on Friday to compete in the 4A State Championship.
