On Wednesday’s away non-conference match the Lady Bucks varsity volleyball team defeated the Cape Fear Colts by a score of 3-1. The set score was: 25-23, 15-25, 25-22, and 25-22. The Lady Bucks had outstanding communication and hustle throughout the game both for defense and offense. The top defensive players of the game were Kimora Blue with 21 digs and Alexis Blackwell with 15 digs. The strong defense of the Lady Bucks allowed them to set up some powerful attacks against the Cape Fear Colts. The leading offensive players from the Lady Bucks were Diamond Holmes with 15 stunning kills and Kaliyah Moore with 2 powerful aces.
